What's a Loader?

A Loader is not a download. It's a live connection to current rules.

When TMEP updates, when Nice reclassifies, when USPTO restructures fees, when WIPO publishes a new fee schedule — Loaders pick it up automatically. Your matter view reflects today's rules. Not last year's.

Why subscription, why view-only, why annual.

Why not sell the Loaders as one-time downloads?
Global IP law changes constantly — TMEP releases, Nice reclassifications, USPTO fee restructures, WIPO Madrid notices. A one-time download is stale within months. Subscription is the only honest contract: you pay; we keep the Loaders current; you stop paying; access ends. No promises we can't keep.
What does "view-only" actually mean?
You log in, open a Loader, render the output in your browser, and read it on screen. You can copy text manually or take screenshots for your own reference. To export a DOCX file, an ICS calendar, or a production-ready PDF, you upgrade to TEAL Firm (starts at $497/mo). Tools is research-mode; Firm is production-mode.
Why annual only? No monthly?
Annual matches how IP practice planning works (year-over-year matter volume, annual fee budgets) and lets us invest in monthly Loader updates with predictable revenue. Monthly subscriptions invite churn that doesn't fit a knowledge product.
What's included in monthly updates?
Every change to the underlying TEAL Knowledge Hub flows into your Loaders within 30 days: new fee schedules, new TMEP/MPEP edition cites, Nice reclassification updates, WIPO Madrid information notices, jurisdictional rule changes. You'll see a "KB verified" date stamp on every Loader output.
Can I get just one Loader (e.g., Template Loader only)?
No. Each pack is bundled by IP type because the Loaders are deeply integrated — Template Loader output references Timeline Loader deadlines, Tag Loader feeds matter status into both, Tabs Loader orchestrates the workflow. Splitting them defeats the architecture.
What happens to my Loader access if I cancel?
Access ends on your last paid date. No grace period. No downgrade to "perpetual." This is the contract: subscribed = current Loaders. Unsubscribed = no Loaders. You can resubscribe at any time and pick up where you left off.
